Los Angeles City Guide

Our Favourite Things to See:

The Broad Museum houses industrialist Eli Broads incredible (mostly!) contemporary art collection. Super edited version of the MOMA if you want to do something cultural that doesn’t take all day.

Our Shopping Finds:

LA is a fashion and style hub so here is a really small list as we could go on…

  • Just One Eye ~ This Hollywood spot is a wonderfully luxurious boutique covering fashion, artwork and furniture.

  • The Apartment by The Line ~ located on Melrose Place the serene space is set up as a home showcasing fashion, home, beauty and art.

  • Melet Mercantile – an extension of their NY home. Melet has an amazing 32,000 sq ft property that houses all his usual home, fashion and art that’s been beautifully curated plus a space for you to create content - you have to see it to believe it!

  • Violet Grey – This spot really is THE BEST in beauty. An incredibly curated selection of all your wants and needs.

Chic Glam Hotel:

Beverly Hills Hotel – we can’t not mention this spot when you’re looking for glam.

Chic budget Hotel:

The Rose Hotel in Venice is as hip as the area it is in. Filled with barefoot babes, we love this place.

For a Relaxed Brunch:

San Vicente Bungalows is the epitome of a chic relaxed brunch. The only trouble is if you’re not a member or ‘friend of the hotel’ you won’t get to experience it.

The Best Healthy Brunch:

The Omakase at Sushi Park housed on the second floor of a mall on Sunset Boulevard. This unassuming spot serves some of the best sushi in town.

For a Smarter Dinner:

The Tower Bar for a really glamorous Hollywood scene.   The Hollywood movie version of a classic American bar. Except this is a real life A list destination!

Low Key Restaurant for Dinner:

Bavel – downtown spot from Bestia family. It’s a busy spot with delicious Middle Eastern food with fun buzzy staff.

Most Glam Cocktail Bar:

Chateau Marmont is what you are looking for. It’s not just the outside bar itself that is utterly glamorous but also the scene and history that has you feeling really fab.

Our Go-To Hairdresser:

Striiike is the brainchild of LA beautician powerhouses the Streicher sisters, Ashley, Jenn and Kristie.

Best Facial in Town:

Joanna Vargas, at the Sunset hotel, hands down!

Our favourite Yoga / Pilates Class:

The Class by Taryn Toomey is a transformative workout of the body and mind and you will leave the session feeling sensational.
